"When Builders Dream" Disappointed with the state of new construction in the area, I saw this as an opportunity to build what I considered a "Custom" Home. Economy dictated that I leave the existing foundation and dismantle the balance. The "French" style I chose would be served by widening the facade, so a 3rd car garage stall was added to the East side and a Primary Bath was added to the West side. Correctness answered the rest. Pitch of roofs, treatment of gables and eaves, placement and style of windows, importance of real stone, color schemes, copper treatments, porches, shutter style and color, gutters and downspouts etc., all were influenced by classic architecture rather than current fads. I am very happy with my homes outcome and I believe you will be as well."
